Terms of Service
Effective date: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rnascend.com, the RN Ascend Student App, and the products and services offered by RN Ascend LLC ("RN Ascend," "we," "us"). By using our site, app, or products, you agree to these Terms.
Using our site and app
You may use our site and app for your own personal, non-commercial study and reference. You agree not to misuse the services, interfere with their operation, or access them in a way that violates the law.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
Purchases, payment, and shipping
Prices and availability are shown at checkout and may change. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the products you order, including applicable taxes and any shipping charges shown at checkout. Shipping timelines and our return policy are described on our Shipping & Returns page, which is part of these Terms.
Digital products, codes, and app access
Digital flashcard decks and app content are licensed to you for personal study, not sold. NCLEX Mastery is offered as a fixed access period of 30, 60, or 90 days; access ends when the period ends and does not auto-renew.
Physical flashcard sets include a code that unlocks the matching digital deck in the RN Ascend Student App. Each code is for a single account, works once, and cannot be resold or transferred. Badge card and pocket card sets do not include a deck code; they include complimentary access to the RN Ascend Clinical Calculator, which is provided as a reference convenience and is subject to the disclaimer below.
Digital products are non-refundable once redeemed, as described on our Shipping & Returns page.
Educational content and clinical reference disclaimer
RN Ascend products, including our clinical reference cards, the Clinical Calculator, and the RN Ascend Student App, are educational study and quick-reference tools created and reviewed by experienced nurses and clinical instructors. You can read about our review process on our Clinical Team page.
Our tools are designed to support, not replace, your clinical judgment, your nursing program's curriculum, your instructors, your facility's current policies and protocols, and the provider's orders. Clinical practice evolves and every facility and patient is different, so always verify information against your facility's current policies and primary clinical references before acting on it, and follow your facility and the provider wherever they differ from our materials.
Our content is not professional medical advice for any individual patient, and it is not a substitute for the education, licensure, and judgment of a qualified clinician. We do not guarantee any particular exam result, including on the NCLEX.
Intellectual property
All content, designs, and materials on our site, in our products, and in the app are owned by RN Ascend or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
NCLEX is a registered trademark of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN). RN Ascend is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCSBN.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our site, app, and products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, RN Ascend is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
