Unlock your digital flashcard deck
Every physical RN Ascend flashcard set includes a code that unlocks the matching digital deck in the RN Ascend Student App, free. Study the physical cards at your desk, run the digital deck with spaced repetition everywhere else. Redeem it once and it is yours.
Which products include a code?
Flashcard sets include a deck code. Pharmacology, Med-Surg, A&P, and Microbiology Flashcards each come with a code that unlocks that same deck in the app.
Badge cards and pocket cards work differently. They do not include a deck code. Instead, the box includes a QR code that gives you free access to the RN Ascend Clinical Calculator. Scan it and you are in; there is no code to type.
How to redeem your code
1. Download the RN Ascend Student App and create an account, or sign in if you already have one.
2. Go to Settings, then tap Redeem Code.
3. Enter the code printed on the insert that came with your flashcard set. Codes are all uppercase.
4. Tap Redeem. The matching digital deck unlocks in your library right away.
Where to find your code
Your code is on the printed insert inside your physical flashcard set. If you purchased a digital deck directly, the code is in your order confirmation email.
Code not working?
The most common cause is a mix-up between the letter O and the number 0. Retype the code carefully. If it still shows as invalid, email hello@rnascend.com with a photo of the insert and your order number, and we will get the deck unlocked for you within one business day.
A few rules worth knowing
Each code works once, on one account. Codes cannot be resold or transferred, and a redeemed code stays with the account that redeemed it. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
